How can I join BASIC?

Click here to join BASIC. Membership is free and open to anyone working in or interested in the field of sustainable investment, including socially responsible investment, ESG integration and impact investing.

How are BASIC programs assembled?

There are typically two components involved: assembling the content of the program (developing topics and recruiting speakers) and finding space for the event. If you have an idea for a BASIC program, or have meeting space to offer, please contact the BASIC Events Chairs.

How can I post a job?

Please email our website chair using this address to post a job on the job board. We also recommend emailing the job posting directly to our listserv by emailing “basic” at “lists.bostonsri.org”. Please know sending a job directly to the listserv will automatically deliver your email to the entire BASIC community.

What networking opportunities does BASIC offer?

BASIC programs typically begin or end with time for registration, refreshments and networking. Our winter and summer socials are exclusively dedicated to networking with members and friends.

How can I email the listserv?

We welcome members to share event invitations, job postings and questions. Once you have joined the listserv, emailing “basic” at “lists.bostonsri.org” will directly distribute your message to the BASIC community.

Are BASIC programs open to the news media?

While BASIC programs are open to anyone wishing to attend, the program content is conducted under the Chatham House Rule: “When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.”
